In yet another amazing development, Emmy award winner Marg Helgenberger, best known for China Beach and her 12 seasons on CSI, has joined the cast of Intelligence. The TVLine.com article is here.
While there are no guarantees that CBS will order the series, I'm encouraged by the fantastic talent flocking to the pilot. I like what Jessica Rawden, writing for Cinemablend.com, had to say in her article yesterday:
"CBS picked up Intelligence to pilot just last month and casting seems to be coming together pretty quickly and nicely for the drama, which will follow a Cyber Command unit in the United States. One of the leads will have a pretty unique technological ability—a chip implanted in his head will allow him to access the 'entire electromagnetic spectrum.' CBS usually only has a few slots open each season, but there’s definitely room for a technology-oriented program at the network, so maybe Intelligence will land one of those coveted slots. I, for one, wouldn’t mind seeing Helgenberger back on TV."
I'm with you, Ms. Rawden!

That's checkmate! How can CBS pass on this now? That's some killer news there buddy! You and the Mrs. scouting out Malibu property yet?
Thanks, Pete! Not checkmate, but a heavy check, I reckon. Ha -- no Malibu property, but we'd love to be able to pay off our house.
How neat is that?!! I can't wait to see it ... good for you John!
