- My wife and I live with three pets – two cats and a dog – just outside Philadelphia, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. For years, I wrote short stories and taught middle school English, but now I'm writing full-time and loving it. Thanks to my excellent agent, Christina Hogrebe of the Jane Rotrosen Agency, and my also-excellent film agent, Joseph Veltre of the Gersh Agency, my YA thriller PHOENIX ISLAND (Formerly known as DISSIDENT; coming soon from Simon & Schuster / Gallery Books) is now the basis for a television series, INTELLIGENCE, under production for CBS, with Tripp Vinson (RED DAWN), Michael Seitzman (NORTH COUNTRY), Rene Echevarria (THE 4400), and ABC Studios producing.
