A couple of years ago, I entered Seton Hill's Writing Popular Fiction MFA program and found myself thrown together with a small group (eleven) of amazing people who, despite wildly varying backgrounds and ages, clicked instantly. Eventually, due to lack of time and money, I dropped out, but the others, despite occasional setbacks, have carried on.
This week, five of the original eleven graduated, having earned their MFA degrees. Three cheers for Joe Campbell, Joanne Crozier, Jennifer Della Zanna, Priscilla Kissinger, and Chris Von Halle! Way to go, Troublemakers!

Thanks, John! So sad you couldn't have been there, but it was a lovely ceremony and residency. See ya on the loop! ;)
The whole thing was perfect...what a great group. Bill sang the school song beautifully at the end. I'll try to get a mic on him in June.
So glad it went smoothly!
Happy birthday John! I hope you have a wonderful day. You more than anyone knows what this day is to me. My second chance, my lucky day, my 9th B day. Thanks for helping me through that time.
Happy "birthday" to both of us, Joyce! I always think of you today. Hope you're celebrating all day long!
